How does parking work when I arrive at Résidence Sparrow?
A parking space is included free of charge with every rental, for both the studio and the apartment. You can park in one of the 6 spaces in front of the building. In high season or during school holidays, if these spaces are all taken, a private space is guaranteed for you in the underground car park, accessible on the left-hand side of the building: once you have collected your keys, take the lift down to level -1 to open the garage door from the inside. Please note that the maximum height of the underground car park is 170 cm. A shared bicycle storage room is also available to you. Free parking right in the centre of Koksijde, 100 m from the beach, is a real advantage: once your car is parked, everything is within walking distance.
Are the bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillows, duvets) and towels provided and included in the price?
Yes. The sheets, duvet covers, duvets, pillows and bath towels are fully provided and already included in the booking price, at no extra charge. The complete bed linen is ready when you arrive. Each property also provides a travel cot and a high chair for family stays with a baby. So you have nothing to bring or rent on site: simply arrive with your personal belongings and enjoy your holiday rental in Koksijde straight away.
Is it possible to change the check-in time (2 p.m.) or check-out time (10 a.m.)?
Check-in is completely self-service, 24/7, thanks to secure key safes: any arrival from 2 p.m. onwards is therefore possible, even late in the evening, with no appointment to arrange. Check-out, however, must always take place before 10 a.m. This time slot allows us to clean and prepare the property immediately afterwards, so that the next guests find a spotless interior. If you need flexibility, please contact us in advance: depending on the booking schedule, we will do our best to allow a slightly later departure, but this unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.
Do I need to take out and empty the bins and glass when I leave?
Yes. Before you leave, please empty your bins and take them to the collection points located about 100 m from the property. In Belgium, waste sorting is mandatory: you must separate residual household waste (allow for a contactless payment of €0.65), PMD/recyclables (plastics, metals, drink cartons and packaging), paper/cardboard, and glass, being sure to distinguish clear glass from coloured glass. This small gesture, respectful of the environment and local regulations, helps us keep the residence clean and pleasant for everyone.
How far are the shops from the residence?
Résidence Sparrow is ideally located right in the centre of Koksijde (Coxyde), just 100 m from the beach and the seafront promenade. Everything is within walking distance: shops, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and bars are just a few minutes' walk away. You can park your car as soon as you arrive and leave it there for your entire stay. To explore the Belgian coast without a car, the coastal tram, which links De Panne to Knokke, is also very close by: perfect for travelling from one end of the coast to the other.
